Travel rates are automatically applied to your line.  There is no travel package that needs to be placed on your account.  If you make any calls, texts, or use any data while you are travelling, then you will be charged the corresponding rates for the country that you are in.  You are not charged if you do not use any of there services while you are on foreign soil.

If you are looking to consume data while you are travelling, it is based off of total consumption for the duration of the zone that you are in (in accordance with the mobility cycle.)  A good tip that can be suggested, is if any of your lines is typically a heavier user of data while in Canada, and they intend to consume data  while travelling, budget for the heavier tier for that line's consumption.  If the user is a light user, budget for the lighter tier.  Individual usage may vary and not guaranteed based on the suggestion given.

A good way to track your data consumption, would be to download the My Data Manager app on your phone (if you have not already done so.)  This app will allow you to keep a live tally at the top of your notifications as to how much data you have consumed.

Alternatively, you can text DATA to 4444 at anytime to receive an up to date data usage report.  Please note, that if this is your first text message while on foreign soil, this may be subject to roaming text message fees.

To avoid accidental data charges while travelling, please ensure that you turn off data roaming on your device prior to boarding your flight in Canada.  This will prevent data usage while travelling, but still allowing you access to your device.

The rates are charged monthly and based off the current mobility cycle dates (13th - 14th of each month.)  Our roaming rates is synced with our mobility cycle.

As a hypothetical, if you would be travelling between the 10th and 20th of the month, and using your device for the duration of that time, you would be charged in the old cycle (11-13) and additional charges would appear in the new cycle (14-20.)

If you have any questions on the time frame that you are travelling, please contact Mynmax.

A couple of suggestions that can be offered while travelling, is to use your device to access email/social media in wifi zones whenever possible.  The other suggestion is to download a 3rd party messaging app (such as Skype or WhatsApp) and use the app to call/text other accounts that are using the same app.

Please see below for roaming rates.  For ease of reference, please use CTRL+F (control+F for mac users) on your keyboard to find your destination, then see the corresponding roaming zone.  If your country does not appear, please contact Mynmax for specific rates.

Please note, that there is NO travel coverage for CUBA and usage will be subject to local Pay Per Use (PPU) rates.
